The books published in the "directions" series contain material on one or more projects concerning operations, thinking, and design in the field of visual communication. The form and content of each book is determined by an individual graphic designer or graphic design group. In 2002 AIGA, has nominated GFT Bits World one of the best 50 books of the years.
